Spring Chicken

Here are a couple of photos that I took this morning. It's going to be 85 degrees today which is a treat, but disturbing for April.

Thanks to Deb for the monkey and Lindsay for the outfit.

Bizarre Love Triangle

Here's a clip of Peter, Celeste, and Pablo, all loving on one another.

It's too bad you can't smell Pablo's breath because it smells like piping hot fish sauce. Celeste doesn't seem to mind and almost seems into it. She LOVES her some Pablo.

Easter Nature Walk

Sunday was so beautiful it was ridiculous so we decided to go hiking near the Delaware Water Gap. We walked through woods on a faintly marked path with Pablo leading the way. Everything was lightly dusted with spring green and the sky was piercingly blue. At one point we came across a gaggle of wild turkeys. With their shiny black feathers, plump bodies and dangling wattles, they looked like a group of overfed business men meeting for lunch. When they heard us crunching along close by they flew down into the valley below us and landed in tree branches. Meeting adjourned.

We walked across the mossy rocks of a waterfall that fed into the Delaware River below us.

I don't think that I ever appreciated sunshine and clear skies as much when I lived in California. Now it makes us all delirious.

I have also put up a clothesline in our backyard and our sheets and clothes are crispy and warm when we bring them in from the line. Celeste likes to sit on her blanket in the grass and watch us hang up the laundry.

Happy Spring!

Spring in Central Park

We took our first trip into New York City with Celeste yesterday. It was a bright and shiny spring day, and we walked around and enjoyed people watching. We'll be back soon.
